  • Write short sentences.

  • Use plain language.

  • Only use words that the protagonist would say in front of the camera.

  • Use colloquial words.

  • Does the text correspond to the way the protagonist normally speaks?

  • Test: Read your text out loud - if you get out of reading flow, something is wrong with the text.
